Dr Abou-Hanna obtained her DDS from University of Michigan and completed her AEGD training from Columbia University. She also has her Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Bradley University and previously worked as an engineer before becoming a dentist.

Outside of work, her hobbies include cooking, long distance running, being around friends/family, and making espresso drinks. She frequently travels to Illinois to see her family especially to be around her niece and nephew.
